Students from Elmwood Elementary School and William Foster Elementary School participated in a practice evacuation drill on Thursday morning, October 2, 2014 in partnership with Trinity High School and the City of Garfield Heights. Approximately 900 students follow a pre-planned walking route from their respective schools, and completed their practice evacuation at the gymnasium of Trinity. This location serves as an alternative route for our nearby school buildings, in the event of an emergency. The Garfield Heights City Schools makes the safety and security of its students a top priority, and the practice routine helps our students and staff to become familiarized with protocol, in the event of an emergency.
