Security procedures were initiated at the High School

At approximately 12:35 pm, the district was notified about a police action occurring in the community near the high school. Out of an abundance of caution, the high school sheltered in place. This means all students stayed in their classrooms and instruction continued.  The district was given an all clear by the police 15 minutes later. Students were safe and secure during this event, and continued with their regular schedules after the all clear was given.
