16 CVCC students attended the SkillsUSA Ohio Fall Conference this past Monday and Tuesday, October 30 and 31, 2017. The delegate team of Justin McGlinchy from Twinsburg, Jake Maskovich from North Royalton, and Tavier Nolen from North Royalton successfully elected four of CVCC's regional officer candidates. Representing CVCC as North Central Regional Officers are: Alli Jadlos, Parliamentarian, Public Health and Safety I from North Royalton, Ethan Wagner, Reporter, Auto Service I from Revere, Lela Jackson, Secretary, Digital Design 2 from Garfield Heights, and Darla Bundus, Vice President, Cosmetology 2 from Cuyahoga Heights. Regional Officers will attend a weeklong leadership training in Washington DC this coming January. While at this leadership training, officers will speak with US Legislators and be part of a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. Way to go, what a wonderful accomplishment!
