Joe Freeman played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. The junior cornerback earned his second certificate of participation. As a freshman in 2013-2014, Joe played in his first season of football and saw playing time at defensive back on the junior varsity level. For his efforts Joe received a certificate of participation. BW finished 6-4 overall. As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, Joe did not play football. As a red-shirt junior in 2016-2017, Joe played his second season of football and earned his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams at cornerback and helped on special teams. Joe played in three varsity games and intercepted one pass. BW finished 3-7 overall.
On Saturday, December 9, 2017, Joe graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a degree in Sports Management and, as we previously noted, he is now working for the Cleveland Browns. Congratulations to Joe on his graduation!! We look forward to hearing more about his future endeavors!
