Upcoming Events at CVCC for 7th Grade and Up!

The following events are coming up in January and February at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center for students in 7th grade and up through high school.
 
Students and parents can explore a variety of STEM careers (Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) through interactive presentations, learn why companies seek STEM skills; talk to employees from leading companies and professional societies, participate in hands-on-activities and demonstrations; meet college representatives and students who will discuss STEM majors and recommend classes to take now. Students can take an online assessment to identify their skills and interests. Free event, no registration required.  For more information contact Marie Elias at [email protected] or visit cvccworks.edu
 
Student/Parent Information Night
Thursday, January 18 from 7:00 -8:30 p.m.

Students and parents can visit CVCC and have the opportunity to learn about all the program offerings as well as meet instructors. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn how students can earn industry certifications/credentials and college credit. (By attending this event, students can earn enrollment points).
 

College and Career Planning Seminar for High School Freshmen/Sophomores & their Parents
Wednesday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m.

Identify tips to develop an independent student. Discover resources to assist with career decision making and planning.
