Seven of our 8th grade students attended “A Day of Hope,” an event sponsored by Boys Hope Girls Hope, with Mrs. Czech and Mrs. Kolodziej. One of the seven students has been part of Hope Prep since he was in 5th grade and is currently still a Scholar at Hope Academy.
BHGH has developed this event as an opportunity for extraordinary middle school students to experience an afternoon that will both celebrate their hard-work and inspire them to persevere on the road to success. Garfield Heights City Schools established their partnership with BHGH in 2014 and has every intention of continuing the relationship.
Students enjoyed a sit down luncheon catered by the Ritz Carlton at the historic Silver Grille in Tower City. The moderator of the event was Jimmy Malone, Radio Personality and Founder of the Jimmy Malone Scholarship Fund.
