Little Bulldogs Kindergarten Registration Event to be Held on March 15 at Garfield Heights High School
The Garfield Heights City Schools will be hosting a “Little Bulldogs” Kindergarten Registration event on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., in the cafeteria at Garfield Heights High School. The purpose of the event is two-fold: first, to begin the Kindergarten registration process and schedule an appointment to complete the in-person portion of registration and second, to provide information about the district’s free summer transition to Kindergarten program. Forms that are picked up at this event can then be properly filled out and returned during formal registration. Final registration begins on Monday, April 10, 2017 and runs through Thursday, April 13, 2017 and then again on Monday, April 24, 2017 running through Thursday, April 27, 2017. At this “Little Bulldogs” event, parents will have the chance to ask questions and meet some of our Kindergarten teachers and elementary school principals. Complimentary food, sports sign-ups, door prizes, games and activities will be available as well. If your child turns five years old on or before September 30, 2017, then he or she is eligible for Kindergarten next year. Please be certain to take advantage of this opportunity to pre-register early and learn about the free summer Pre-kindergarten program provided by the Garfield Heights City Schools.
