It is with great pleasure we highlight Branden Kraus, the Valedictorian of the Class of 2016. Branden will be graduating at the top of his class with an impressive GPA of 4.40 and perfect attendance. It is no surprise that he has been offered over $220,000 in scholarships. After careful consideration, Branden has decided he will be continuing his education at Case Western Reserve University where he has been awarded a scholarship in the amount of $45,000 per year. Branden plans to major in Chemical Engineering.
During his time at Garfield Heights High School, Branden became our GHHS Jeopardy Champion, has been an active member in our National Honor Society and is a member of our Academic Team. Brandon was the Captain of our Academic Challenge Team this year. (Don't forget to watch their broadcast on April 2nd at 7:00 pm on Channel 5 as they compete against teams from Copley and North Olmstead High Schools.)
