The Garfield Heights City Schools welcomed back students for the first day of the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The bright, sunny morning was the perfect start to the new school year, as administrators, teachers and staff, including Superintendent Terry Olszewski, welcomed students to their respective buildings with smiles and friendly greetings.
