William Foster Elementary School was recently awarded the Silver Medal by the Ohio Department of Education for its Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) initiatives underway in the building. This marks the highest level that William Foster has attained, and the second consecutive year it has earned a medal. For ranking at this level, the building leadership at William Foster will be honored at a special presentation in Mansfield, Ohio on November 30, 2017 at the Mid-Ohio ESC Conference and Event Center. This award recognizes buildings in school district that exceed expectations when it comes to promoting the PBIS program, which incentivizes students for demonstrating positive behavior. William Foster Elementary School has gone above and beyond to promote positive behavior, completing tasks on time, demonstrating respectfulness and other acts of kindness amongst its student body. Congratulations to Mr. Patton and the entire William Foster building for earning a Silver Medal in this year’s PBIS Showcase.
