On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, nearly 300 Middle School student-athletes and their families attended this year 2014-2015 All Sports Banquet. All individual sports, coaches, and athletes were recognized including football, volleyball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, basketball, wrestling, softball, and baseball.
Every athlete received a Garfield Heights Bulldog water bottle in recognition of their participation. Additionally, three athletes were selected from each team to win one of three awards - The Athletic Award, The Bulldog Pride Award, and the Scholar Athlete Award. The Athletic Award recognizes an individual for demonstrating superior athletic ability. The Bulldog Pride Award recognizes dedication, discipline, sportsmanship, and commitment to the team. The Scholar-Athlete Award recognizes those that achieve academic excellence while participating in organized sports.
In addition, special recognition was given to the Middle School Wrestling team. They finished a perfect 21-0 undefeated season. They were the North Royalton Tournament Team Champion, Northeast Ohio Conference Champion, and Bulldog Dual Tournament Team Champion. Each wrestler was given an undefeated t-shirt.
