Empty Bowl Project

“Empty Bowls” is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. The Kiwanis Club and the Garfield Heights High School Art Dept. joined together in this project. Guests are invited to choose a bowl and enjoy a simple meal of soup, salad and bread in exchange for a minimum cash donation. The guests keep their bowls as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. All proceeds from the event go to a local food bank.
