The campaign for Issue 3 is well underway, and by now, you should know that this is a renewal issue that is NOT a Tax Increase. The campaign is now requesting YOUR HELP, to get the issue passed. Here’s what we’re asking from you.
1) LITERATURE DROPPING TODAY, TOMORROW, FRIDAY
Today, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 literature drop packages will be delivered to your buildings, for areas in and around your school building. Inside each package are a few items:
o Literature
o A map
o Instructions of WHERE we want you to drop, in or around your building. *Please pay special attention if there are addresses on the top of your instruction sheet, as we need you to cover only the areas listed.
**WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET THESE PIECES OUT the DOOR! Literature not delivered will be amassed on Friday afternoon and distributed this coming Saturday morning.
2) SIGN UP TO WORK A POLL ON ELECTION DAY EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL
There are several polling places that need your presence. Those include:
o The High School
o Maple Leaf
o Elmwood
o William Foster
o St. Peter and Paul Church
We’re asking for volunteers to hold signs from 6:30- 7:30 a.m. and then after school from 5- 7:30 a.m. Please reply to this email if you can help.
Election Day is 13 days away. The outcome of this election impacts the students and staff of the district for many years to come. Please help.
