Space Available Now For Garfield Heights Students For Boys & Girls Club Afterschool Program
The Garfield Heights City Schools is pleased to announce that we have an afterschool program for Garfield Heights students who are in grades 1 through 8. The program is offered at the Garfield Heights Middle School from 2:45- 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
The program offers homework help, a meal, dancing, fine arts, games, and sports. Parents are responsible for getting their children to and from the program. Children who attend Maple Leaf Elementary School will be escorted across the parking lot to the Middle School by a Boys & Girls Club staff member.
For enrollment packets, parents call Ms. Laronda McWhorter, the Boys & Girls Club Site Administrator. Her phone number is 475-8105, extension 53224. Before picking up a packet, parents must first sign in at the Main Office of the Middle School. There, they will be told how to meet with Ms. McWhorter or another Boys & Girls Club staff member.
