Over the weekend, a few of our very own GHHS Bulldog Band Members competed in the OMEA Solo and Ensemble contest. The following students received Superior and Outstanding Scores. The scoring system is on scale 1 – 5 with one being the highest score you can get.
Receiving a Superior rating of 2 are as follows:
- Emily Mazer with a trumpet solo
- Jasmine Milton with a trumpet solo
- Stacia Greathouse with a trombone solo
- Corey Marsh with a snare drum solo
- The GHHS Clarinet Quartet featuring Cassandra Frederick, Taeylr Bonner, Gabriela Irvine, and Talia Potter
Receiving an Outstanding rating of 1 are as follows:
- Holland Petway with a Alto Saxophone solo
- Austin Santos with a Vibraphone solo
- The GHHS Trumpet Trio featuring Stacia Greathouse, Joey McArdle, and Malachi Fruits.
- The GHHS Percussion Ensemble featuring Austin Santos, Corey Marsh, James Ray, Jay’llen Hathmen, Joshua Ramirez, Holland Petway, and Cameron Rawlins.
