Strong Turnout Makes Family Fun Night a Success

Attendance at this past Friday’s Family Fun Night was extremely positive, as over 120 tickets were sold for the event which was held at the High School Stadium parking lot before the varsity football game. Open to Elementary and Middle School families, hundreds of parents and students filled the parking lot to enjoy the warm temperatures, food and refreshments, and wide variety of activities such as inflatables and guided tours of police and fire vehicles. The event also spotlighted the building winners of the Punt-Pass-Kick contest finals on the football field prior to the start of the game.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Citizens for Garfield Heights and its efforts to pass Issue 113, which will be on the November ballot. Issue 113 will NOT raise taxes, but rather renews funding that has been in place since 2012. The district would like to thank everyone who attended Family Fun Night and helped to make the event a big success!
