Superintendent Terry Olszewski recently delivered his annual State of the Schools address, as part of the Southwest Chamber of Commerce’s yearly event which includes the Garfield Heights City Schools, Trinity High School and the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. Blending a mix of prepared remarks with an interactive Powerpoint presentation, Mr. Olszewski used videos to help share the state of the schools. Unequivocally, Mr. Olszewski stated that the state of the Garfield Heights City Schools was all about opportunities for our students. During his remarks, Mr. Olszewski summarized academic accomplishments, co-curricular milestones and some interesting student opportunities within the District. Joined by Mr. Olszewski in making a presentation was Director of Development for Trinity, Patrick Straffen, and Dave Mangas from the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center.
