Team Pride Participates in Test "Prep Rally"

Team Pride students participated in a team test prep rally in an effort to motivate and send positive vibes not only to themselves but the rest of the students at GHMS as well. Team Pride students viewed an inspirational true story, called Stand and Deliver, about a group of students in East Los Angeles who struggled to pass a state exam...but they all passed and shocked the entire community with their hard work and dedication to learning. Then, Team Pride students worked with one another on a variety of activities to encourage their fellow classmates at GHMS. By the end of the day, Team Pride students created a graffiti wall, posters, banners, and balloons all with uplifting messages that they displayed or passed out to the rest of their classmates at GHMS.
