Board of Education Vacancy
The Garfield City School’s has an unexpected Board of Education vacancy as of February 19, 2020. The Board is now accepting letters of interest as a potential board member from eligible residents who desire consideration to fill the vacancy through the completion of the unexpired term. Interested eligible residents must deliver a Letter of Interest and Qualifications as a potential Board Member addressed to Board President Joseph Juby, c/o Treasurer Al Sluka, 5640 Briarcliff Drive, Garfield Heights, OH 44125, before 12:00 p.m., March 6, 2020, and be available for interview by Board of Education members during special meetings held on March 10 & 12, 2020. The individual chosen to fill this vacancy will be appointed and sworn in during the Board’s Regular Meeting on March 16, 2020.
