Class of 2020 Graduates
with Special Outdoor Commencement Ceremony!
Members of the Graduating Senior Class of 2020 are walking across an outdoor stage after having their names read aloud, receiving their respective diplomas from Principal Tammy Hager and being congratulated by a parade of staff members, Superintendent Chris Hanke and distinguished members of the Board of Education. Smiles and fun, proud families and as spirit-filled, but socially-distanced onlookers are applauding each of the graduating seniors over the three-day, drive-up event. Each student receives a time slot to enter the High School parking lot with their families and dressed in cap-and-gown participate in a modified ceremony. Each student turned their tassels and then threw their caps in the air. Cleveland.com graciously live-streamed portions of the commencement while the District is broadcasting the entire 3-day event.
