Grab and Go Updates

To Our Garfield Heights School District Families

In continuing to follow the Governor’s guidelines and mandates while trying to meet the food needs of our students and families, we have modified our District’s Grab and Go Breakfast and Lunch program once again.  Please note the following changes below:

1.    The time for pick up for food will continue to be from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

2.    Pick up will now be at two sites: High School and Middle School.

3.    Pick up will now be every other day beginning Monday April 6th. Please see pick up dates below during the district’s mandated closure period:

                              April 6, 8, 14, 16, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, May 1

(April 10 is Good Friday and April 13 was a scheduled PD day)

On these days, we will be giving out two breakfasts and two lunches per child: one for the current day and one for the next day.

4.    Pick up will be curbside service so you will not need to leave your automobile under any circumstance.

5.    Pick up of food will be at the front main doors of each school. Just pull in front and someone from the school will be there to help you.

6.    In order to comply with federal requirements, we will be asking for student names of those receiving a meal and the school they attend (does not have to be a GH school).

We ask for your cooperation and understanding in complying with these changes and requirements during this trying time. We need to continue to maintain the safety of our staff while providing meals to our most needed students and families.
