Theater Department Performs Preview of Check, Please

As part of the ongoing relationship between the Garfield Heights City Schools and the senior citizen community, the High School Theater Department recently performed a preview of their fall show, Check, Please. Led by the overall direction of Mr. Stephen Benjamin and assisted by Mr. Chris Satola, the Theater team did a fantastic job performing the play which accounts a series of comic blind dates that couldn’t get any worse, until they do. Senior citizens laughed and enjoyed the thespian talents of our high school students. In addition, students from the recently organized Middle School theater team also traveled to the Center for Performing Arts to participate in this preview as well. The Garfield Heights City Schools thanks Mr. Benjamin for this yearly preview performance, in advance of opening night, which is Friday, November 9, 2018, for this production.
