The First Fresh Food School Market was a GREAT SUCCESS!

On Wednesday, October 10, 2018 the Garfield Heights City Schools in partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank hosted its first (monthly) Free Fresh Produce School Market. Families were able to receive fresh lettuce, carrots, peppers, bananas, melons, broccoli, and pears. At the event approximately 150 families were served. We will continue to provide the opportunity for families to pick up free fresh produce the second Wednesday of every month from 4-6pm at Garfield Heights Middle School. The next opportunity will be on Wednesday, November 17, 2018 from 4-6pm.
