Alumni Update: David Schmidt & Timothy Schmidt
Garfield Heights hometown Brothers serving our Country! David “04” and Timothy “08”. SSGT David is a Marine Force Recon Sniper. He has been serving over 8.5 years now. He was deployed to Afghanistan as well as Japan, and has been out to sea on deployment with the Marine Expedition Unit (MEU) to the Middle East. David is currently stationed in North Carolina. He is married to Kelsey (Sedlacek) who also graduated from GHHS. They have one daughter, Charleston who is now one year old. Sgt.Timothy has Served 5 years in the Army. He served with The 173rd 2nd Battalion 503 Div. Airborne Infantry. Tim met his wife Lauren Wynn (from Stow) when they both were in college at Kent State. They are 2012 graduates. They have one daughter Pernilla who is almost 3 years old. Tim and his family were stationed overseas for 3 years and returned to the States in “17”. Tim was then deployed to Kuwait. Timothy finished his 5 years this July and is back home in N.E. Ohio. He is now continuing
to serve our country in the Army reserves while looking for employment in the law-enforcement division. Our heartfelt thoughts, prayers and thanks to them & all of our Military Families!
