Twinsburg High School senior, Xan Denker, was recently selected to be a performing member in the 2019 OMEA All-State Orchestra!  Xan earned her spot through a rigorous audition process that annually selects from hundreds of the top high school musicians in the state!  The All-State Orchestra only accepts three trumpet players, which makes Xan stands out as one of the finest high school trumpet players in Ohio.

The 2019 OMEA All-State Orchestra will perform as part of the 2019 Ohio Music Education Association's Professional Development Conference in Cleveland.  The conference takes place from January 31st to February 2nd and is centered in and around the Huntington Convention Center.  The All-State Orchestra, Band, and Jazz Band performances are highlights of the event.  Performance time and location are still being determined and the event is free to the public.

Ms. Denker is an exceptional trumpet player, dedicated member of the Twinsburg Band Program, and also performs in the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, among other musical ventures.  A big congratulations to Xan and her family, and a thanks to Mr. Tom Resnick, Mr. Ryan Bonitz, and Mr. Damon Conn for their support of a fine musician.
