On Saturday, members of the high school band program participated in the Ohio Music Educators Association's Solo and Ensemble Contest. At this contest each soloist and ensemble competes for a rating. 1 being the best and 5 needing the most improvement. This has been the most instrumental students Garfield has sent in quite a long time and our participants did very well. They represented this school and band program very well! The following participants were dignified with certificates of excellence for earning a 1 or a 2 for their performance;
