A recent round of building upgrades have taken place at Garfield Heights Middle School and the High School. In an effort to help improve the overall learning environment for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, new ceiling tiles have been replaced throughout the building, more energy efficient LED lights have been installed, a new sound system has been installed throughout the building and new drinking fountains have been mounted. At the High School, new LED lighting has been inserted through the building.
With an eye on improving the academic setting in the buildings for students and seeking to optimize energy conservation, these upgrades have been made. We will keep the community informed on continual capital improvement efforts as they unfold in the near future.
