Little Bulldogs Kindergarten Information Night to be Held on March 13th at Garfield Heights High School
The Garfield Heights City Schools will be hosting a “Little Bulldogs” Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday, March 13th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Garfield Heights High School. The purpose of the event is to begin the kindergarten registration process and schedule an appointment to complete the in-person portion of registration. In addition, the GHCS will provide information about the district’s free summer transition to kindergarten program. Forms that are picked up at this event can then be filled out and returned during formal registration. Kindergarten registration begins on Monday, April 1st through Thursday, April 4th, and then again on Monday, April 8th running through Thursday, April 11th, 2019. At this “Little Bulldogs” event, parents will have the chance to ask questions and meet some of our kindergarten teachers and elementary school principals. Complimentary food, sports sign-ups, door prizes, bus rides for students, games and activities will be available as well. If your child turns five years old on or before August 1st, then he or she is eligible for kindergarten next year. Please be certain to take advantage of this opportunity to pre-register early and learn about the free summer pre-kindergarten program provided by the Garfield Heights City Schools.
