Garfield Heights High School students had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Dr. Julie Zhao, Assistant Dean at The University of Akron's College of Engineering to hear about the many exciting careers and opportunities in this field. Spearheaded by, Julie Regula, Cuyahoga Valley Career Center Career Specialist for Garfield Heights City Schools, this meeting served as an introduction to engineering and as a way for students to broaden their knowledge to the many available career options. Mrs. Regula plans to facilitate more "Career Talks" in the future, including topics on manufacturing careers and careers in the trades.
