Newsletter Will Be in Mailboxes Soon!
The Fall 2019 edition of the Open Line newsletter for the Garfield Heights City Schools will soon be in mailboxes of residents with an update of some of the most important things happening in the District. Featured throughout the quarterly publication are articles about the successful start to the 2019-2020 school year, an update from new superintendent, Chris Hanke, the Board of Education and Treasurer Allen Sluka as well as stories of student interest. The winners of this year’s Diversity Champion Award, Amanda Sizler and Ashley Turner. The District also extends its gratitude to the Garfield Heights Kiwanis organization as well as the Helping Hands Committee from Marymount Hospital when making generous donations to the students of the GHCS.
