On Tuesday, October 29th at approximately 9:30, all students and staff from William Foster and Elmwood elementary schools will conduct simultaneous evacuation drills wherein both schools will walk/evacuate to Trinity High School. Once at Trinity, teachers will take attendance and return shortly thereafter to their respective schools where the school day will continue. This marks our 5th anniversary for conducting the walking safety drills for these 2 schools, and we thank Trinity for opening their facilities to us again.
The Elmwood students will walk through the parking lot of St. John Lutheran Church and proceed east on Granger Road to Trinity. The William Foster students will walk east on Bangor Road to 132nd Street, cross over to the north side of Granger Road, then cross over to Trinity. The Garfield Heights Police Department will provide police cruisers at 132nd Street to help the William Foster children and staff to cross Granger Road on the way to Trinity and on the way back from Trinity.
