Garfield Heights High School Drama Team Performs for Senior Citizens
With the candor and
spirit of a true dress rehearsal, the talented students of the high school Drama
Department presented a preview of its fall performance, Check Please: Take
2, for more than two dozen senior citizens. In the intimate setting of the
backstage performance area, students delivered an hour-long truncated rendition
of the performance which premiers for the greater community on Friday, November
15, 2019. Senior citizens were greeted by Drama Department Director Mr. Stephen
Benjamin and Mr. Chris Satola, who managed the behind-the-scenes elements of
the performance. Students wonderfully performed. Senior citizens graciously
spectated. After the performance, the always highly anticipated meet-and-greet
took place between the students and senior citizens. On behalf of the Garfield
Heights City Schools, thank you to the senior citizens who attended this
preview performance. All the best to our student performers over the weekend as
well.
