Fall Family Fun Night and Superintendent Meet-and-Greet Draws Hundreds of Participants

Fall Family Fun Night and Superintendent Meet-and-Great Draws Hundreds of Participants

The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to thank everyone who participated in this past weekend’s annual Fall Family Fun Night at Garfield Heights High School. With more than 400 participants attending to show their Bulldog Pride, this year’s Fall Family Fun Night ranks as among the most popular and well attended since its beginning. Families had the opportunity to say hello to the District’s new Superintendent, Chris Hanke while enjoying hot dogs, soft drinks and bounce house fun. The City of Garfield Heights graciously provided a fire engine and other public safety vehicles for children to tour and have the opportunity in which they could ask questions. Superintendent Hanke delivered remarks thanking those in attendance, while Board President Gary Wolske, and Board Members Joe Juby and Joan Chamberlin drew the winners from the tickets of attendees for the raffle. A special thanks go out to the staff of the Garfield Heights City Schools who helped to cook hotdogs, advise on the bounce houses and provide tours of the various city public safety vehicles. All in attendance had a wonderful time. Thank you for your continued support of the Garfield Heights City Schools. Go Bulldogs!
