Elementary Students Learn Kung Fu
Students at Elmwood, Maple Leaf and William Foster will be learning the art of Kung Fu during their physical education classes. Grades 2-5 will be taught by Sifu Gino Belfiore of the Shaolin Kung Fu Institute. Students will focus on cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and muscular strength, as well as teaching discipline and self-esteem. They also will learn how to count in Chinese.
