Elmwood Students Enjoy a Visit By Cleveland Browns Players
On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, 70 Elmwood 1st grade students visited the Garfield Heights Public Library to participate in the library's 2013 Touchdown for Reading Program, hosted by the Cleveland Browns.

In recognition of the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Browns tight end Jordan Cameron and linebacker Jabaal Sheard read a patriotic book to the 1st graders in attendance.  The Browns chose to kick off their Touchdown for Reading Program in Garfield Heights so students could visit the new library branch and see how easy it is to reap the benefits of the beautiful facility as they pick out books to read.
