Garfield Heights Elementary Schools’ Instrument Band Expanding: Instruments Needed!
As part of an ongoing initiative by the leadership of the Garfield Heights City Schools to expand opportunities in the performing arts to district students, the schools are asking for donations of any unwanted or used instruments, including specifically, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets and flutes. The district is asking that those who might have these instruments and who are willing to donate them, to bring them directly to the Garfield Heights Board Offices.

The idea behind this initiative is to offer an enhanced instrument and band experience for all interested 5
th grade students in the Garfield Heights City Schools. Currently, there are approximately 20 elementary students participating in the program and the district intends for this initiative to double, and perhaps even triple the number of students participating. Please consider donating any of these instruments to the Garfield Heights City Schools. The students will certainly benefit from this opportunity. Again, you can drop off these instruments at the Garfield Heights Board of Education located at 5640 Briarcliff Drive in Garfield Heights. We thank you for your support!
