Elmwood Rocks Red Ribbon Day
On Thursday, October 26, 2017, School Resource Officer James Seawright came to Elmwood to kick off Red Ribbon Day with our 4th and 5th graders. This year’s theme is “Your Future is Key, So Stay Drug Free." Red Ribbon Week is a way for people, communities, and schools to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Our mission is our commitment towards creating and having DRUG–FREE SCHOOLS. You can go to redribbon.org to learn more. A special thank you to Officer Seawright for his time, presentation, and vision glasses that were handed out to Elmwood students to see what it would feel like to be alchohol induced. Thank you to all students and staff who wore RED on this special day. Click here for pictures from the activity.
