Stir Fry in Food Tech
In Food Tech, students learned the technique of stir-fry. Not only is stir-fry cooking quick and easy, but it’s nutritious, colorful and has endless possibilities. Students practiced using paring and chef's knives to prep the vegetables and made rice for the first time. While using a Wok, we flavored our stir-fry with traditional asian flavors of toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. After students investigated the basics of stir-fry cookery, they got to spin themselves a delicious meal. Click here for pictures from the lab.
