Showcasing Artwork from Students in Drawing/Painting Class
Showcasing Artwork from Students in Drawing/Painting ClassHigh School students taking Drawing/Painting at the High School are creating giant food drawings using soft pastels. They are currently discussing photorealism, which is an extremely realistic style of painting and drawing, where the artwork is based off of looking at a photo. These works of art are typically mistaken for photographs, due to their realistic qualities. Sarah Sartain, Tjalf Sparnaay, Tom Martin and Mary Ellen Johnson are some of the artists students looked at before getting started! Click here to check out some of their work.
