Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce Presentation Hosted at Center for Performing Arts
The Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual “State of the Schools” presentation at Garfield Heights High School’s Center for Performing Arts earlier this week. Presenting were three educational institutions from the community, including Dr. Celena Roebuck from the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, Patrick Straffen from Trinity High School, and our very own Terry Olszewski, Superintendent of Schools. Included in Mr. O’s presentation were many of the major milestones and accolades experienced by the students and staff of the district during the last twelve months. Approximately 50 people attended the luncheon ceremony, including many local businesses and Mayor Vic Collova. A special treat for the participants was a visit during the networking hour by students in-costume, who are in the midst of their spring performance of Shrek. Thank you to all who participated in the Garfield Heights Chamber of Commerce’s State of the Schools ceremony.
