The Garfield Heights City Schools experienced positive turnout at its annual Little Bulldog Kindergarten Pre-Registration Event, which took place on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the High School Cafeteria. The fun and informative event provided parents and family members the opportunity to begin the process of enrolling their child in Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year. Attendees were also provided information about Kinderbound, the district’s free summertime Pre-Kindergarten program, and the opportunity to meet some of the Kindergarten teachers and principals.
Free hot dogs and other refreshments, as well as fun activities, including face painting, balloons and other games were available for parents and their children to enjoy as well. Many students had a chance to ride a school bus for the very first time, as the district provided a short bus ride every fifteen minutes during the program. The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to thank the families who attended the Kindergarten Pre-Registration Event and welcomes all future students as they become LITTLE BULLDOGS for the upcoming school year!
