Bread Tabs for Wheelchairs
Bread tabs are being collected until December 20th for this semester!
Did you know...
The members of the Key Club, a Students of Service organization, have regularly collected bread tabs. The bread tabs are collected by a company in South Africa Africa which adds their own charitable donation to provide wheelchairs for disabled students and adults there. For each of the past two summers, the Key Club students have sent a suitcase full of bread tabs to assist with this endeavor of helping just one person at a time.
Now, it's not just the High School students and staff who are participating in this project! Thank you goes out to our Middle School students and staff who just sent the Key Club a huge bag of tabs! And it goes on from there as students at our elementary schools are also joining in to help collect bread tabs.
Please check out this video about collecting bread tabs and feel free to help us out by saving and sending your bread tabs into your building's office. They will get the tabs delivered to the High School. Thank you in advance for your support!
