Congratulations to the Class of 2017
Congratulations to the Class of 2017

The evening of Friday, May 26, 2017 was a wonderful celebration of the Class of 2017, as commencement was held at Music Hall in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Students assembled early and eagerly prepared for the evening’s regalia, including an entry by the students that was met with a thunderous applause from the audience, a number of impassioned speeches and picture-taking amongst staff and graduates one final time. Members of the Board of Education attended the ceremony and congratulated students throughout the early part of the evening. Superintendent Terry Olszewski shared his thoughts about ‘opportunities’ in the Garfield Heights City Schools, which echoed a similar message from Board President Gary Wolske. High School Principal Tammy Hager inspired students with remarks as well, individually recognizing a number of graduates in her speech. The Garfield Heights City Schools congratulates the entire Class of 2017 and wishes them well in their future endeavors!
