Garfield Heights City School Honors Officer Seawright and Officer Dillon During National Police Week

The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to recognize the brave men and women who devote their lives to serving others and protecting our common safety during National Police Week. Celebrated during the second full week in the month of May, the nation is called upon to salute the law enforcement officers who are the front lines of public safety. In the Garfield Heights City Schools, the District is particularly proud of the work of Officer James Seawright and Officer Doug Dillon, who work tirelessly to ensure and promote a safe learning environment in our school system. They are beloved members of the staff who appropriately plan and prepare for student and staff safety while maintaining an open, honest and welcoming disposition that encourages meaningful relationships with many individuals. The Garfield Heights City Schools thanks Officer Seawright and Officer Dillon for their service, and commends all of the individuals who are public law enforcement officials. A Bulldog Thank You to you all!
