Redshirt sophomore Branden Johnson was named second team preseason center after a career year in which he nearly averaged a double-double in conference play. He finished the year averaging 7.7 points and 6.8 rebounds, while shooting 64.3 (99-of-154) percent from the floor. He grabbed 212 total rebounds last season, including 79; while also recording 48 blocked shots and 18 steals. Branden is a 2015 Graduate of Garfield Heights High School and has chosen Psychology as his major at Alabama State University.
