Art Room Happenings

Art students are preparing to submit artwork into the annual Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Program.  Research topics that GHHS students have chosen this year include: Stroke, Breast Cancer, ADHD, Gun Violence, Eating Disorders, Depression, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Blood Contamination.

Each art submission will be judged by an esteemed panel of judges based on interpretation, presentation, creativity, and initiative.  The judges will award four levels of special recognition for submissions. In descending order they are: Blue Ribbon, Red Ribbon, White Ribbon, and Honorable Mention.

This year’s award recipients for eXpressions™ will receive a gift card, they will be featured in the eXpressions™ catalogue, on the eXpressions website, and they will be displayed in the 2019 eXpressions™ Art, Language, and Math eXhibition at the Global Center for Health Innovation. There will be an art opening, including a formal program and reception for winning pieces.  CLICK HERE to view photos.
