Middle School Summer Reading for 6th & 7th Grade
Middle School students in grades 6 and 7 have to read 40 steps over the summer and fill out their Summer Reading log. Students can choose any book they like. The Teen Librarian has spoken to all 6th and 7th grade classes to inform them of the Garfield Public Library Summer Reading Program that can be completed at the same time as the GHMS assigned summer reading. All students received a reading log and a free book to take home for the summer. The reading log is also attached here for your convenience. One step equals 15 minutes!
