Alumni Update - Alyssa Granito - 2016 Graduate
Alyssa is a Junior at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Nuclear Engineering. She is doing very well in her studies and has had the opportunity to travel. Last spring she visited the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria for a Nuclear Engineering class and did a three day study at Chernobyl. Last summer Alyssa interned for Exelon, an energy company, at their Nuclear Fuels department in Kennett Square, PA (the mushroom capital). Next summer she will continue her internship experience with Exelon at one of their nuclear plants in Oswego, NY.
Alyssa is also a member of the All American Marching Band and participates with the pep band (GABS) for the Women's basketball team. Last fall the band played at the Bowl game in San Francisco and this year they will be going to Nashville, TN for the Music City Bowl. Last spring the band went to Ireland to march in the Dublin St. Patrick's Day parade.
