Garfield Heights City Schools Hosts Organizational Meeting, Welcomes
New Board Members
The Garfield Heights City Schools Board of Education hosted
its annual Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, welcoming two
new members and selecting its leadership for the coming term. Joseph M. Juby
was re-elected last November and sworn in for a new term. Additionally Mr. Juby was appointed President
of the Board of Education while Robert A. Dobies, Sr. was appointed as Vice
President. The meeting included the
official swearing in of two new members, Nichelle Daniels and Ashley Thomas,
who were elected by the community last November. On behalf of everyone in the
Garfield Heights City Schools community, a special word of congratulations is
extended to the five members of the Board of Education who formally began their
term at this Organizational Meeting. Go Bulldogs!
