Athletic Booster Club

Message from Terri Phillips, President, Garfield Heights High Booster Club. Inc.

"We all have dreams, but in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort."
- Jesse Owens, 1936 Olympic Games

"Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them, a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill and the will, but the will must be stronger than the skill."
- Muhammad Ali

Athletics play an essential role in the development of many Garfield Heights students. Both on and off the field, the students learn teamwork, a strong work ethic, goal attainment and ultimate achievement. Their success is a tribute, not only to the athlete, but also to the parents and coaches for their dedication and support.

As Garfield Heights High Boosters, we are proud to volunteer our time so that $50,000 per year is provided for sports equipment, college scholarships and team recognition. The Booster Club also sponsors the Youth Wrestling and Basketball leagues to create a love of these sports from a very young age.

We invite you to have some fun and participate in our fundraisers- become a member, attend an event, play or help at BINGO on Tuesday evenings

Good Luck to all. The Booster Club wishes all student athletes a safe and successful season.

Terri Phillips
President
